For your safety and the safety of all riders of your vehicle, ATVDiscounter.com recommends that any assembly or maintenance on your unit be performed by a certified mechanic. This will ensure that any unforeseen issues that arise will be adequately addressed by a trained professional. Possible issues that could arise include, but are not limited to, electrical connections that have become disconnected in shipping, vacuum or fuel hose(s) that have become dislodged in shipping, and/or loose nuts and bolts that may need to be tightened. While these issues are usually simple for a mechanic to fix, they can be extremely difficult to troubleshoot for someone lacking proper training.

Safety Concerns and Recommendations
Our primary concern at ATVDiscounter.com is your safety. These vehicles may be driven at high speeds and, in some cases, riders may be children. The buyer can help safeguard all riders by having the vehicle properly assembled and inspected by a professional mechanic prior to using. Many local dealers will charge a prep and assembly fee in order to validate the factory warranty. ATVDiscounter.com does not charge a prep and assembly fee for online orders, so that the buyer can have this service done locally when the unit is delivered. Having this work done by a professional can help ensure that your vehicle is properly assembled and adjusted so that you can safely enjoy it. We suggest checking all the issues above on our fully assembled units for safety verifcation purposes.
All shipped vehicles are new in the factory crate and some assembly is required. Our vehicles are usually 90% assembled out of the crate. A professional mechanic is required to assemble and prep the vehicle, which includes changing all fluids in the vehicle (such as motor oil, gear oil, and radiator fluid), connecting the fuel line or any other lines that may have become loose during shipping, properly inflating tires, and properly adjusting the carburetor. All nuts and bolts should be tightened when the unit is received, and they should also be periodically checked after riding the vehicle for additional safety.
It is recommended that you fully charge the battery of the vehicle for 24 hours prior to first use.
These vehicles also require a break-in period of approximately 100 miles. During the break-in, alternate speeds and do not exceed 3/4 of the throttle. Anytime after riding, make sure to tighten all bolts and nuts that may become loose due to engine vibration.
If you still have questions please contact our Service Support department.
